1984
In The Beginning
Christopher Smalley started Hudson Valley Sunrooms in Kingston, NY. Together with Bruce Coppola as the head installer, they worked together to bring Four Seasons brand sunrooms to the Hudson Valley!

Jason's Beginning
During Jason's high school years, he finished high school from home and simultaneously started working for his dad part-time.

A Welcome Addition
After many years of handling everything on his own, Chris hired Colleen DePuy to help him in the office. She would later stay on with Jason to help with the change of ownership.

Divide & Conquer
After 12 years of working with his dad, Jason started his own company, JSS, as a subcontractor for Hudson Valley Sunrooms. Jason would not only help build & maintain sunrooms, but also offered window cleaning services to HVS customers.

Big Changes
For several years prior, both Chris and Bruce were talking of retirement. They both finally realized this goal as Jason took over Hudson Valley Sunrooms in March of 2021. Along with Colleen, Jason would bring HVS into the 21st century.
